Many of the people who use this site are older, have low vision, or use assistive technology. We built it for them first.
What we aim for
This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Body text is at least 18 pixels, set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface designed for low-vision readers.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements, and every control can be reached and used with a keyboard.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are switched off.
- The site works without JavaScript, and every phone number can be tapped to call.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are explained in plain words.
